The conference is hosted by the Institute for Broadcasting Economics, in cooperation with the Broadcasting Fee Association (BFA).
It will take place at the Maritim Hotel, in Bonn, Germany, on May 6 and 7, 2010.
On the first day the legal, economic, and administrative requirements for the funding of public service broadcasting will be discussed, and the role of the licence collecting agencies will be explored. The second day will focus on the question if a licence fee is still appropriate in times of media convergence, when receiving sets become multifunctional and "hybrid". The conference programme can be seen here.
Information about the conference hotel, the Maritim Hotel Bonn, Godesberger Allee, 53175 Bonn, you can find here, including a map that shows you the way to the hotel.
